Sunday, 17 September, Welcome Reception in the Niepolomice Castle

The Welcome Reception will start at 7pm in the Castle Restaurant.

Monday, 18 September, Sightseeing of the Niepolomice Royal Castle and open-air BBQ dinner

Guided tour of the Niepolomice Castle will start at 6pm. You will hear about the history and legends associated with this nearly 700-year old Royal Residence. We will visit the museum located in the Castle, which hosts an interesting collection of Polish and European art.

After the sightseeing, at 7pm, we will have an open-ar BBQ dinner at the Podegrodzie Settlement located near the Castle.

Wednesday, 20 September, Sightseeing of the Wieliczka Salt Mine

The Wieliczka Royal Salt Mine is one of the world's oldest salt mines in operation. It was opened in the 13th century and produced table salt continuously till 1994. Today, it is one of the most valuable monuments of material and spiritual culture in Poland. Its attractions include dozens of statues and beautiful chapels carved out of the rock salt by the miners throughout the centuries. These are supplemented with new carvings made by contemporary artists. It was inscribed in the UNESCO's World Cultural and Natural Heritage List as one of the first twelve sites.

We will take a guided tour following the classic tourist route. We will visit the most magnificent places of the salt mine, including the Chapel of Saint Kinga.

Wednesday, 20 September, Conference Dinner in the Jan Haluszka Chamber

Directly after the sightseeing we will enjoy the Conference Dinner in the Jan Haluszka Chamber. Its magnificent walls were carved in green rock salt, 135 meters underground.
