A revolution in stellar physics with Gaia and large surveys

Scientific program

The SOC has selected abstracts for 45 contributed talks. The program and the list of speakers can be found below (in pdf format):

Contributed talks will have 20min total (15min for the presentation + 5min for questions). Invited talks will have 30min total (25min for the presentation + 5min for questions).

Gender balance on contributed talks is 14 F and 31 M. For all speakers it is 20 F and 41 M. The ratio for registered participants is 43 F and 88 M.

On Thursday afternoon we scheduled an extended (50min) coffee break for poster viewing. During this session, we encourange the presenters to be around their poster to be able to interact with the interested participants.

The workshop will end on Friday (September 7) by lunch time.

We do not plan to publish proceedings from the workshop.
